Calipers and discs AGAIN!

I know its been done to death, but I still havn`t managed to sort out my brake upgrade...Whilst I have got the 260 discs and XR4 x 4 calipers I dont seem to be able to sort the carrier bracket..When checking, the bracket was the same on sierra and xr 4x4? I even went to a Main Ford dealer and part numbers seem the same?...The carrier must be bigger to clear the bigger disc? I`ve even now got cozzy calipers and discs..the caliper appears the same although the carrier is bigger, trouble is the cozzy disc was 270mm although all the bolt holes seem to line up? confused or what?
