Has anyone used POR 15 on their chassis? I`ve used hammerite before and an assortment of different paints as I used to be an aircraft painter. I have heard of POR 15 and if it`s as good as I`ve heard then some anti deterioration work may be in the pipeline.

morning,

yes i have used POR15 on my front wishbones, i also used the metal ready stuff it recommends & seems to work well, done them nearly a year ago now & no signs of chipping or anything at all, & i use my car as a daily driver in all weather. plan to do the rest of the chassis this year, just a bit of a pain with no ramps or a pit.

if you do use POR15 & the other bits it recommends, dont get any of it on your skin, as the paint never comes off, & the metal ready just melts your fingers off.

Richard.
