a couple of questions about my V8S please

hi everyone!

can u please tell me what make are the front indicators (are they Ford at a guess?)

can u buy any rubber or similar pads to stop the bonnet rubbing above the wheel arches?

can u recommend a panel cleaner enhancer for the rear screen im sure i have seen something.

Daf trucks I think..

Take a look at Silverback Mike's front end rebuild, think he mentioned where the parts are from..

Front indicators are mid-80s leyland sherpa van - only cost about £8 from a leyland truck dealer... part no BAU 2249

Autofast do them cheaper by mail order.

Renovo do a plastic window renovator.

You could also try the 303 product from the Polishing Company.
It worked on mine.

Sounds to me as though you need to adjust the bonnet so that it doesn't rub, rather than try and pad it out. The adjustment is fairly crude - the bolts which form the hinge pivot allow up/down and left/right adjustment. Two other bolts on the hinge allow fore/aft adjustment. Plus, the catches can be adjusted. Good luck

And mine has pads fitted to stop the bonnet rubbing....
