Hi everyone.....

..... just a quick question, read through loads of previous postings here regarding tyres, i need a complete new set!

The most popular choice seems to be the Bridgestone RE720 and they will probably be the chosen boots, before I shell out for them though I was has any one had any experience of the Falken ZE 512? An online dealer (camskill.co.uk) recommended them as a good alternative.

Thanks and happy
Matt

Good point Mike forgot to say, mines definately and everyday driver.....

I do know Falken are great tyres, mainly used in racing so are technically brilliant. I use the Falken GBK451 on the A8 (245/40 x18) and they are excellent, I am thinking to try them on the V8S next? Their real strength is in the wet I am told, so if your is an everyday car I would go for it?

I use them on my MG. In just over 2 years I did 29k on Micheins and so far 30k on the Falkens. They perform well wet and dry and look like they could last to 35k. The 4 cost 305 and are 17" unltra low profile. Not tried any on the TVR though.

Put Falkens on my S1 a few months back and been really pleased with the performance. £234 for the entire set also put a smile on my face!
