Does anyone know which Ford the brake master cilinder from a TVR S2 originates from? My rear brakes have packed in. The same question applies to the steering column passage through te firewall which has worn.

If the master cylinder has the reservoir attached to it then it is from a Ford Sierra. If the reservoir is remote then it is from a Saab 9000.

The rear brakes may have stopped working because the Acceleration valve has jammed. This is the valve that prevents the rear brakes from locking before the front and is situated on the bulkhead behind the servo/master cylinder assembly.

The steering column bulkhead bush is from a Ford Escort although it is best to get the later ball bearing type rather than the nylon ones as they last longer.

I have just replaced the steering bush and master cylinder on my S2.

Recently replaced the Brake servo on my S2, it has the master cylinder seperate from it on the bulkhead (the white plastic one) on mine it was all from a Saab 9000 pre ABS (not Saab 900)
