After almost six weeks since the altercation with a central reservation kerb stone, I got my old S3 back today.

If any one out there does a similiar thing you should expect to replace the trailing arm...stub axle...bearings...bearing housing...drum...drum back plate....brake shoes inc. springs....drive U/J...drive shaft...8 spoke OZ....tyre.

I think that about sums it up...needless to say I was right pleased to sink back behind the wheel and take her for a little drive.
The roads were a tad greasy today so I drove her like a vicars grandma might drive her.

Many thanks to Mike and Wendy at Horizonmotorsport for looking after my car and doing a fine job...oh yes and well done on finding another wheel.

PS I think he knows where at least 2 more wheels are

SS2.

Well done to get her back on the road. Wait for some dry roads, then you can exorcise the vicar's grandma.
