Wipers park switch

Hi everyone, I had troubles with my wipers a while back, cured the problem. Now the park switch has given up, broken contact inside . Does anyone know the scource or donor car of this tiny but important switch? thanks in advance

you could try tvrcarparts
it is very similar to a mini one but if i recall from previous threads the mini one doesn't have intermittant wipe
i may be wrong on this perhaps someone has a difinitive yes or no on the mini one as they are really cheap

Vague feeling that the wiper motor itself is a Lucas part, but in any case, Joospeed managed to source a park switch for me in a couple of hours a year or two ago. Reasonably sure therefore that it must be a common stick item..

David Batty got mine for me. Not sure what it's off, but it's not a mini as some thought. The Wiper motor itself is from a mini but the drive gear and spindle, worm drive thingy (technical aren't I) are unique to the S. So if you want tot rebuild you have to combine the old and new for form one.

The wipermotor in the S is basically the same Lucas part as fitted to mini's, MGB, Spitfire, Jag E-Type and lots of other British cars from the fifties to the seventies, although the gearing inside the wipermotor is different for each of these cars, as each has a different size windscreen and different size wiper arms. This doesn't affect the parkswitch though, so it's possible to use a mini parkswitch on your S. The very first mini's didn't come with self-parking wipers though, but these became standard fitment somewhere in the seventies.
