The rain arrived so off I went flask and torch in hand to sit in the S2 watching and waiting. Not long before I noticed the water trickle down from the hole in the bulkhead, housing the throttle cable. It's amazing what can accumulate in a short period of time.
Anyway, when the rain eased I lifted the bonnet and noticed that the throttle cable rubber grommet at the bulkhead was hardly a smug fit. I then remembered Lee mentioned that he thought the cable was the wrong sort.
So, to the point, does anyone know the correct part no for the cable and what about the rubber grommet, is this a separate item ?
Also i noticed slight leaks from all the bolts running thro' the bulkhead, brake servo, clutch, steering column etc. Can anyone recommend a suitable sealant.
P.S. I have no garage before the wit comes my way!

Throttle Cable is Motorcraft 6720349.

See PistonHeads S Parts List:
www.pistonheads.com/tvr/s/Default.asp?storyId=3276

Any rubber type sealant will do (Halfords). Also check indentations on top of the bulkhead where wiper spindles are - another common place for leaks.
