Air vent hose

Hi All,

Does anyone know where I can get the hose that leads from the front of the bonnet to the cool air vents in the centre console. The offside pipe is split and the nearside one is missing..!! on my car.

I did a quick search through the archives but couldn't find an answer.

i need to replace mine and have been trying to find an alternative that is a bit less dull but to no avail as yet ,you can get 50mm ali corregated tube but it's a bit flimsy

I'm sure they're off an MG. They look the same as the ones that were on my Midget. I'd suggest calling the MG Owners call at Swavesey 01954 231318 and see what they say

Mine could do with replacement...anyone persuing this lead?

I checked the Moss website and they do sell a reinforced hose for the early Midgets. It looks possible it might fit but the Midget part would be too short. Might be worth measuring the hose and then calling Moss.

I can do it but will need someone to measure the length of the nearside pipe as I don't have one.

50mm ( i think) by about 2 x 6ft sections should well cover it

Europa Spares have some 'Heater Ducting Hose' by the metre in various diameters.

any one know if anyone does any coloured tubing
