First break down.

Lept in the S this morning, turned the key and clunk.....not enough juice in my brand new uber red top battery, it was fine at the weekend, so i must have a fairly heavy drain somewhere.
Bloody moody car, it's been fine for the last 6 weeks parked in the back garden, as soon as i put in the newly tidied, dehumidified garage it does this
All well know after a quick jump....I've invested in a trickle charger, I think it may be the interior light, the switch seems a bit flaky, only time will tell.

Any other common battery killing things I should look at?

Mine used daily but I did fit a battery isolator switch incase I was working on car or on holiday.
Nothing should be draining your battery except possibly the alarm and clock,so check that light switch.
Otherwise the battery isolator switch fitted between negative terminal and the chassis earth is a sound buy to prevent discharge at about £15.00

Yes, a brand new alarm, but it has been behaving oddly since I changed the battery.
She fired up ok this morning, I've put a trickle charge in the garage to keep the battery topped up, and the alarm is behaving itself now......suck it and see I suppose.

hmmm, previous owner of mine had problem with alarm (caught fire in end!!). I've just left on an immobiliser which doesn't seem to drain my battery at all. Like you say, guess you'll have to see how it goes.
