Hibernation time soon

Well, the Tiv has to go into hibernation for a bit, a good time for some fiddling and fettling over the winter. As much as I love driving it, it is going to get wrecked hammering along the M5 day in, day out.

Also because I've bought an M5 :bounce:

So I will give that some stick over the winter, and TVR in the summer.

Trouble is, I have to find another diesel snotter. :irked:

look forward to that....incidentally, it might not be a bad thing, the seals have gone around the doors so currently is a bit of a paddling pool.

Carpets starting to get a bit mouldy. I would like to look after it really, don't want to wreck it through excessive use in bad conditions. I know it could do it, but I intend to keep it for some time.

Cheers Pies, plugs shall be pulled. I need to dry it out fully before I put a car cover on it too.

Mike, beware if your putting a cover on for a long duration and keeping it outside. No matter how tight you fit it the cover will flap about and it will get dust underneath. This will abrade the paint so you will either get a lot of small scratches or as a mate of mine found, on his Marcos, it had rubbed through to the gelcoat
Also as per Pies advice take the bungs out of the floor and put something like Silica Gel or similar inside the car to absorb condensation. Halfords or Caravan dealers have the gel or crystals.
