Does anyone know where I can get a replacement chrome headlight rim. I understand these are prone to coming off, and I have recently lost one. Any information to help source this item would be greatly appriciated.

Try David Gerald TVR Sportscars Ltd. - if its the same as an S2, the rim will cost £25.50 inc Vat, if its the Headlamp Unit (Valeo H4) it will be about £50 inc Vat (prices when supplied 12 months ago.)

Take a look at Stafford Vehicle Components web site www.s-v-c.co.uk £18 for a pair plus p&p.

I need a pair of rims for mine, thought I’d pop in and have a look, there only about 30 min's drive from me.

Remember if you are buying standard parts, you will also need to add a small retaining strap used to screw them to the shell. Some TVR dealers/specialists supply them with this extra bit fitted.

Cheers,

bought some standard 7 inch head light surrounds.Remove headlight and put a small self tapper in pointing outwards. This meant that as soon as you put it on,it holds the rim in place and no more nasty looking clip to hold it on.Don't forget to hammerite the rims,as they rot from the inside out.Oh and if you want to shout about it,they are thye same as the good old Austin Maxi.......nice!!!!
