Can anyone tell me where the fan on my S2 is from? I’m told the rad is from a land rover. Any ideas, I want to get it done before I miss all the good weather.

Well TVR want £171.88 + VAT +Post, which is a bit much, Kenlow will supply a 16” fan with an adjustable switch £138.42 all in. I’m going to the breakers tomorrow to see what I can find. If anyone else is interested the kenlow part no. is 16sxx for the fan.

Paul V I have a brand new TVR fan for sale if you are interested. Bought the fan, then sold the car for a 350i before I fitted it. £80 if you are interested it comes with the connector and the correct fixing holes to match the old one. Before I bought the fan I tried messing about with a kenlow fan and in the end ripped it out!!. mail me with your phone number if you are interested. mike_bressington@yahoo.co.uk Cheers Mike Ps. I have some other S2 bits as well. Mike Edited by mikeb on Tuesday 31st July 19:45

Hi Lee Bee, I got the TVR cooling fan, a new clutch slave cylinder, a brand new set of unused footwell carpets (dark blue pile with thick sound deadening and magnolia piping and stitching) and a set of new wiper arms. ps. the footwell carpets were specially made for me by a company that specialises in producing carpets for Jaguar E-types - and are really nice. My mail address should work, try copying it manually to the To: data cell in Outlook. mike_bressington@yahoo.co.uk Cheers Mike Mica Blue 350i

After lots of messing around yesterday I finally found that there is a relay between the switch and the fan, this had blown, £8 later its working again, well I must have tested it wrong on the hard shoulder of the A2, so that’s now sorted. I also fixed the Speedo and the oil leak I think.

I don't remember how much I paid in the end. The cylinder is brand new still with the stoppers on and in the original packaging. Make me an offer I cannot refuse... Mike Mica Blue 350i
