Engine mounts, which way round?

Hi All,
I am planning on putting the engine/gearbox back into the S chassis this weekend and was hoping that those who have done it before can give me a couple of pointers.
First off, is it best to initially bolt the mounts to the chassis or to the engine before mating the two together?
Secondly, the mounts have a metal disc on one side. Does the metal side face the engine or chassis?
Nearly there now. Body on next month and then maybe on the road in November for first time in two years. Can't wait.
By the way I have pictures of virtually the entire chassis and all the components so if anyone ever wants a picture of something to help them visualise how it fits together let me know. (Except the engine mounts of course).

This is a picture of my engine going in (or possibly coming out) and it looks like I didn't take the mounts off the engine...
