I'm back ... with a Cossie lump

Been away for a while as the S has been off the road having a little work done.

Thanks to Mike at Boost Performance the Cosworth engine is in and running beautifully. :bounce:
I grinned all the way back from Derbyshire. :D

There is still a couple of little issues that need ironing out but hopefully they will be sorted soon. the main thing is I'm out and about around hampshire again. :wavey: (you will spot me as I am the one with the wide grin :D)

I know you are now going to ask for pictures but I couldn't wait any longer to post my news, hopefully soon I will have some pictures of the finished job - (I haven't finished the cozzie badges yet) But as soon as they are on I will post some pictures of my new P&J.

Yep I had to really, I couldn't go down your route with the Griff or it would have meant a leg lengthening op and I think that would have been a bit extreme.

The air filter shall shortly be moved away from the engine and down as far forwards as possible. Also note the temporary expansion tank sat on the bulkhead until a top opening one can be found off another car and used.

I have used a standard Sierra header tank, and done away completely with the swirl pot. In other words, a set up just like the standard Sierra/Granada. Seems to work fine. I remember the old header bottle thing and swirl pot were forever overflowing.
I could in theory attach a photo, but admit I do not know how.
