TVR S2 Gear linkage type 9

My gear linkage broke on Sunday I have been told I need this saddle to connect from the gear lever rod to the gear rod in the type 9 box, with the above part, the original was plastic. Its hd brass any experience and secondly is this right part!

I have an 2.9 Series 2 1990, just want some confirmation from you dear TVR S Folks, many thak Madrid Freddy

For road use (not racing) I would use the plastic one

Just to give you some information, Phil, I am Londoner however live north of Madrid in the Sierra de Madrid at 3000ft plus, beautiful mountain roads! Segovia, Avila, Salamanca, Toledo and some other beautiful cities an hour to two hours away! I have lived in Spain since 2000, so know the country very well! Just in case for future you would like to arrange a trip to Spain! I have very good contacts at Jarama Circuit and have driven on that circuit, we could arrange something in the future, it would be fantastic, TVR's in Spain are exceedingly rare everywhere I go I get attention.
