You sure that this is your old girl, Shnozz ? Its just that a mate of mine (not a PHer) is on the lookout for an S3 /S4 and I sent him the link to this ad today. Its no secret that your ex was a Cat D but what was the extent of the damage, mate ?

From what I remember it was only a Cat D repair and it was autolign inspected but still on the register - I assume that always stays?

Its a lovely car though, can certainly vouch for the old girl and she was a lively performer...for standard.

no, they do always say that dont they

Robs car was lovely, remember stumbling (literally) across it at Le Mans 2003. Never a massive fan of green cars though, even though I bought a chim in that colour.

Unless the experience was worth it the 1st time around and you avoid thinking about whats happened to her since you parted.

Oh, you were talking about cars..

Still think thats a bloody good one. Certainly quicker than most S3s I've been in.

and assuming she isnt shagging one of your mates when you first date her?

Yep, twas a fantastic car and sentimental value is massive Certainly havent been in a standard S thats as quick yet and the infamous "I must stop driving like such a pussy" line came from you in the passenger seat on that car. In fact, I might have to put that sound clip up as an avi.

Scunthorpe

Go on, buy her back mate. You'd have to spend an awful lot of money to get another V6 that goes faster than your old one did..
