New (unexpected) S3C owner

When i say unexpected, i was planning to buy an S1 / S2 in a few months...but have just won a 1991 S3C in a classic car competition...so I'm a little excited!!
So as I haven't done my usual research, I'm hoping you guys can help answer some nooby questions please -
Being an S3C I'm assuming it takes unleaded, should I use super?
I work away for 1-2 months at a time so will need a battery trickle charger / conditioner?
Which books / manuals should i buy...Steve Heath for a start i guess...anything else?
Should I get classic car insurance or normal...and why?
I'm sure there'll be more but if there's anything you can think of to get me on the right track initiall that would be appreciated.

All those 2.9 engines run unleaded. If the cats are still in lead will definitely bugger them!
Steve Heath book can be handy but really nothing in it that cannot be found online these days.
Insurance, get some quotes, I've always presumed classic insurance is the way to go with a hobby car?
My car was left in the garage for six weeks last winter, started no problem on my return. Some owners seem to have issues with old alarm systems draining the battery over time.

I had my S2 on classic policies for over 25 years. The only downside is that they often do not include any no-claims-bonus, but that wasn't a problem when I switched cars ; I just took out a similar policy again. But it might be an issue if you later sell the TVR and switch to a modern car.
Footman James and ClassicLine were the best quotes which I used to get - typically around £250 for limited mileage and agreed value. If you join the TVR Car Club, they can provide a free valuation certificate - all you need to do is complete a self-declaration condition form and send a few photos.
