TVR V8S gear lever rubber gaiter
Discussion
If you search "Pistonheads TVR S Series gear lever gaiter" that should bring up some old threads. I seem to recall someone used a Land Rover one upside down?
The problem with most alternatives is they bunch up and can make gear selection difficult.
How bad is yours? I have a spare here (they are Ford Sierra) that has had a couple of minor holes repaired with bicycle puncture repair patches.
The mk1 Land Rover Freelander gaitor works on the Type 9 gearbox fitted to the V6 S. Turn it upside down. Cut the top off and then seal the hole with some rubber. There is a how-to guide with pictures in this forum.

The gaitor also works on the Wedge with the LT77 gearbox. Again turned upside down. No need to trim, the moulded opening fits perfectly over the edge of the gearbox remote linkage. I believe the V8S also uses the LT77 gearbox but may not have the same remote linkage.
Again, there is a how-to guide on fitting this in the Wedge forum.
