Just seen this advert for a S4 at £12500...... seems a lot even if it is in good condition IMHO.... www.pistonheads.com/sales/50705.htm

Well in to V8S prices..

It appeared for sale a while back as well... no idea if it was sold, or whether this is a re-advertisement though.

Does look like a stunnign example though

Red ones are better..

I would be in favour of prices holding at this sort of level, but as I've no intention of parting with mine, makes little difference to me..

Barring freak paragliding accidents eh WH

The car was at SCH2 . I remember Terry , nice chap.
I am in favor of prices being kept up otherwise there is no margin for anyone to spend on a poor car to restore it and cars would be lost just because they are uneconomic repairs.(feel free to comment)
This does seem allot for a V6 though.

Lovely looking car, however it's into 4.xx Griff territory there.

Some people seem to think that an S4 is worth significantly more than an S anything else other than a V8. In my opinion, value is determined by quality, not the S number and it's hard to imagine a V6 S in good enough condition to warrant that price. Does anyone know what the V8 that was advertised just before SCH3 went for. That was up for a similar amount and it had about 600 miles and spent all it's life indoors.

Pavement camouflage grey are the best, stealthy approach.

Thats a crackin car in excelent condition and IMHO well worth the money.I'd rather have that S in its current condition over any Chim/Griff of equivilent money.A griff/chim in that condition will be worth somewhere around £20k ish i guess

You didnt intend to part (ends) with the previous motor though did you mate. Besides, Saturday was getting a bit close to parting with the road too

Its a good old bus, but I'm not particualrly attached to it.. No reason for not swapping the two over and maybe sorting a bit of cash out either side if needs be..

Oh, and as for the MG story. I refer the honorable gentleman to previously posted threads which I think adequately cover the story.
