Does anyone know where you can get the wood dash trim and centre switch panel (S3)? Also a rough price would be good. Would I be correct in thinking there a nightmare to fit.

The TVR Centre in Barnet do them (amongst other places) but make sure you're sat down with a stiff drink before you ask them how much they charge for the fancy new wood...... It put me back in me box

If you have to ask how much, Sir.......etc etc

Didn't go for it in the end, I decided to get used to the 'patina' of my current dashboard instead

Tower View can re-veneer just about anything. I seem to remember their price for that little switch panel was relatively inexpensive, but I guess the cost for the entire dashboard could be quite eye-watering.

Thinking back it was about £75 for the switch panel, and £375 for the dashboard and £135 for the two door card finishings......and that's if you do all the dismantling and reassembly yourself

The switch panel on my S3 was sorted by the previous owner, who had a new one made up by a company who does the veneering for Rollers, classic Bentleys and the like. It looks fantastic, putting the dash to shame..

The company is Silvercrest in Bucks, number 01753 653 235, and I've been told to ask for Steve Bell.

Know nothing about the cost though, but I'm intending to get the dash done next year.

Hi,

David Geralds did my new dash (01386 793237). The whole lot came to around £300, if memory serves me right.

Anyone ever had the early 'S' curved wood dash re-veneered? If so, what would be the cost of that?

(I had mine re-laquered 5 years ago but it is starting to go crappy again).

For those of you handy with wood, you can get any veneer you like from Art Veneers in Mildenhall, Suffolk, and do it yourself....
