Hi, managed to get out in my 1988 S1 on Sunday as it’s first outing of the year.
After about an hour of driving I noticed the bonnet looked like it wasn’t shut fully and bouncing.
Turns out the catch decided to become detached from the bonnet. I think the nut has just worked loose and I have luckily still got catch part with the spring on it. Does anyone know what size nut it should be?

The thread is M10 and the parts are as Phillpot picture shows (It would be prudent to use a nyloc).
The Pin/thimble/spring/pressed nut are from a Ford Capri/Granada era cars, the two mudguard washers and thick washer are the added 'TVR' parts. A@
