I have 2 originals that are still in boxes that I may sell for the right money.
Sold my V8S a few years ago and can’t see myself going back to one.

They’re the same indicators as a Sherpa van so look for those and you may not be quoted such silly prices.

Googling
S Series front indicators site:pistonheads.com

will show you lots of alternative indicators/lenses that can be made to fit, and how.

Some say the Maverick/Terrano units look better on the S than the Sherpa originals did.

Me, I'm on BMW E30 replicas.

Of course, if you must be 'original' then you'll have to bite the bullet.
That's if you regard modern non-CE-marked replicas as 'original'...

In the late '90s I could buy these new for £7 each. Wish I'd put a few dozen away ... I could be on an island in the Bahamas by now.

Personally I have never liked the 'original' lenses. That 'overlap' looks wrong and gets damaged to easily. I did some of the research/experimenting with alternatives and even got them 'judged' by non TVR geeks! I settled on Nissan Terrano units, very slightly spaced out with a second foam 'gasket'. Still come up on ebay fairly regularly as a complete unit and at a much more sensible price. Since I bought spares I have never chipped a lens!

Personally I like the BMW E36 (I think) indicators that are plentiful, available with factory clear / smoke options AND a side light within the same unit.

yes

If the factory had used any of these more modern options then we'd all be sneering at people bodging it with those nasty DAF things.

About 15 years ago i sold a pair of brand new S lenses on ebay and they went for well over 200 pounds even then.
If you're building a show winner then there's little option, but if all you want is something that fills the hole well then the world's your lobster smile

When did you last see a pair of those advertised? 15 plus years ago? And it has to be a particular Sherpa, far from all of them. I had an ebay search on for many years.

My point! That is NOT the same as the original lens, it is a later one. May fit to same housing, I dont know size.
The original is BAU2249.
