Saw quite a smart TVR watch on one of the pics on "uncle Daves image upload site" Does anyone know where it came from, is it official TVR merchgandise?

You called sir?

www.tvrplus.com
£100 squid (or near enough..)

I was thinking of ordering one myself actually..
If you order one tell me what you think!

Note to all:
I've updated the Image Upload website, all old Images have been cleared from the table, but they are still online..
You can now add your PistonHeads username

Thanks!
Dave.

Wait your horses...I ordered a bonnet badge off them 2 weeks ago, not seen or heard from them yet. All I get is answer phone messages!

Interesting comment there, I thought it was just me...

They have been very difficult to contact recently - you only ever get an answerphone, they don't return calls no matter how many messages you leave.

I certainly wouldn't be sending them any money in the meantime, until I had a bit more reassurance that they were actually delvering goods...

Does anybody have one of the watches? If so any comments about it's quality/style etc

Keen to get one but have been wary about watches and quality etc..

Me too, I ordered something from them... never arrived..

The Avondale International Answerphone sounds like the bloke from the Accident Helpline advert..

But they did email back said there were problems, my order hasn't been charged, and if I wanted to.. re-order

I'd like to know if anyone else has got a watch aswell... before I invest £95 in them!

Thanks,
Dave

UKBob bought one, if I remember correctly it leaks and the dial steams up and no I am not joking.

I'm sure UKbob has one...

He said it leaked...

Made a louder ticking noise than any other watch he has owned..

The leather stitching was coming undone after a couple of months..

Only worked when it had warmed up..

I'm sure there was a thread somewhere...!

I was given one for my birthday 9 months ago. The watch is made by Sekonda and is imported for the USA. It comes in a very nice presentation box. The watch is heavy duty and apparently well made. Everything works as it should and I have had no problems to date. Lots of admiring comments though.

Someone here made a comment about stitching coming undone. My watch has a stainless steel bracelet and therefore there is no stitching to come undone. Mine is identical to the one in the photo.

I believe it took about three months to arrive - presumably made to special order. My wife was very worried it mioght not arrive in time but it did.
