Hi everyone. I’ve managed to melt my cooling fan motor. Racing Green stock a replacement but it is to go on the front of the radiator, whereas mine is on the engine side. Does anyone know if the new fan will run in reverse if I switch the wires over? Presumably the fan would not be as efficient running in reverse as the blades would curve the wrong way, but hopefully still move enough air. The other possibility is I could use the blades from my old fan if the fixing is the same. What have other people done in this situation? Kenlowe don’t seem to make aftermarket fans any more, has anybody found another make that will do the job. Any advice will be very gratefully received. (NB; i've put this query on facebook as well)

Have a look on the Car Builder Solutions website, lots of good alternatives that several people have used.

Thank you. Mike is letting me have a used fan. So problem is solved. I'll bear car builder solutions in mind if I manage to ruin this one
