Magnolia Interior Refurb

Bought some Furniture Clinic leather colourant. Very good product and very good colour match.
I cleaned the panel with Acetone first (Acetone was the only product out of 10 things it tried that actually had any real affect), in small batches, which actually did a very good job considering my interior was very grubby, then applied the colourant. 2 coats seems to work well to hide any discolouration.
The product is Jaquar Magnolia AEM, it’s a special mix not one of their standard colours, you need to know this when your ordering. I got 500ml to make sure I had enough.
Left is original, right complete.

Thanks for this.
A few years ago I re-covered my hood hoops and roof panels in Jaguar Magnolia Ambla fabric: I wanted a light colour in place of the hideous elephant grey, and the Ambla stretched to the shapes really well.
I'll be doing more in the future, and it's good to know there's a product that will clean/refurbish it.

Is this panel in real leather ?
I have used Furniture clinic (and other distributors) products for years : to refurbish a complete black leather Audi interior, to partially refurb a MGF light tan interior, and to refurb two Alfa 147 seats and install them in my S3C.
Normally you have to use several products. The first one, to clean the old leather, but also to open leather pores. This product is not Acetone but is very volatile, like Acetone. The second one is the colour, has you show. And the third one is a fixing agent. You can choose if you want a shiny or matt finish. These products are amazing, and resist for a long time, but only on real leather, not on pleather.

Pretty sure it’s not leather. Seems pretty resilient though., time will tell. Looks like a good job, carful using Acetone on materials though. I used it to clean the gum off a new electrical appliance and it ate right into the plastic.
100% agree. Was using it in patched of 100mm and wiping off, otherwise does start to go sticky. Wife has been on one of the door cards today and said she’s used washing detergent, not sure if that’s washing up liquid or washing machine, will have to have a go with that and report back. I also tried Furniture clinics leather repair kit in order to rectify some scuffing on a seat bolster. I just ordered cream as I wasn't aware of the special mix . After a little trial and error on some scrap material managed to get an almost perfect match. Very pleased with the overall result and can recommend.
