Does anyone know or has replaced the single central washer jet on a S1. Mine got damaged during removal and I can’t find anything that looks exactly the same, and not sure if a replacement like the photos will do as never seen how the jets work I.e how far it sprays to the left and right, and I guess the replacements available have a narrow zone of spray and adjustment.

Dash is off at moment, so could put two in but read the pump isn’t man enough for that and I’d have a hole in the middle to cap off

Any help appreciated.

These are usually steerable over quite a wide angle si I suspect it won't matter much - it will still only touch part of the screen and rely on the wiper for the cleaning action. One of my favorite upgrades on the V8S was a spray bar on the wiper arm.

I saw a few threads on that but can’t work out what it is and how it works, and how you pipe it up.

I’ll order one of those from eBay as cheap anyway, but any info on what you bought would be helpful.

Thanks.

Disconnect the pipes from the washer jets and connect to the arms...

That sounds very simple. So you use the same arms, just the blades are different and have the jet in them.

So if I run the main pipe through the hole, and tee off splitting into two, then these run to the blades. Is that right.

Thanks

To mind mind that will look a right flippin' mess. Nearly as bad as this wink

For the number of times I find I need to use the washers I would stick with the neat, original set up or blank the hole off with a grommet, drill two new holes and fit two jets which will then be accessible without taking the dash out!

Thanks for the photo. That makes sense now.

Yours looks neat enough but I’ll try the aftermarket one and see how I get on. Can always retrofit after if need be. Need a windscreen first. wobble

Don't suppose they're Doeskin, as I'm on the look out for some?

Sorry a black set and a magnolia set (I will offer them up on my FB group first) I have to negotiate what is going to replace them with my son, before I do that. A@
