Hi guys,

My S3C chose this afternoon to convert my garage into a steam room biggrin

The top hose, between the thermostat and the swirlpot has been burst by the accessory belt frown

I don't find a good reference or a supplier.

D 31 952X 9044 B1 is written on it, but don't help

Could you please help me?

Cut it where the damage is and put a coupler like this in. If it rubs again it won't rub through smile

Unfortunately, it's not possible. there's 2 bends very closed each other and not in the same plane. Cutting one to put a coupler seems putting a clamp in the next bend... not possible. But it could be possible to buy several steel 90° bends to cut and weld it to obtain the same shape in steel with 2 straight sleeves.

I used a Vulcoflex corrugated hose. CBS list it but out of stock.
Totally satisfactory, but you need to form and restrain it carefully to avoid the alternator drive belt.

Does this help in any way?

Try ACT hoses possibly.

Thanks for the answers. ACT gave me a reply. The reference is ACTH014 :

With delivery and customs, that won't be cheap at all frown But after several days searching by different ways, with no success, I have no other choice.

Do you have scrap yards in France?

If yes, you might be lucky there and find something to cut out from another car.

Nowadays, it's not so easy to find a scrap yard where you can go to the car storage area to look for what you want. But I know one.... closed for summer holydays. And it's not easy or common to find a hose with the good shape, with 2 bends, not in the same plane.

Buy a Gates 3472 hose. A lower radiator hose for a Peugeot 205 and readily available. Need to trim it a bit, but it will fit and will miss the fan belt!

I've just done it!

Thanks a lot for your solution... thanks for all other peoples, because for me, it's 3 days too late... I ordered a 100€ hose... instead of a 5€ 205's hose cry

Thanks for this useful information. I'll add it to the alternative parts list when I get a minute.

Cool wink Could you also replace the swirlpot cap reference in the list. It is not QH FC53 (single seal) but FC60 (2 seals). Thanks.
