How much is a Surrey top for an 'S' these days and do they actually work?

Also, what's the going rate for re-trimming a hood?

Have you posted in the wrong forum Joe? Thought you had moved on to an MGA. biggrin

Do you mean a Surrey Roof?

I don't think the price has moved much. Certainly hasn't gone down biggrin

I've said for a long time they are a great improvement for TVR targa models. Quality isn't great, and plenty feel this makes them poor value. I feel the improvement in luggage space and ease of stowage offer the value.

There's a few threads on improvement mods - some that the builder could do as part of the build. A couple of them need to be done on the car to take up the variations in TVR builds.

If stowed behind me and the back section up, I can fit the roof while in the driver's seat.

Isn't your V8S 'the only one' roof wise? ETA - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cS1bxpP3SUI

I'm not sure I agree about the quality not being great. I've got one for my Griffith & it's just fine.

So what would that be then? I can't see a price on the website.
