Speedferries were excellent - and a quick crossing too . . . lesss than 1 hour. Many TVRs and other low slung sports cars for the Le Mans outing and no access problems. The staff were very considerate giving time and assistance to those that had clearance worries. No problems as far as I was concerned.

Most ferry companies are very good with sportscars - never had a problem.

Ditto Keith. Speedferries, cheap, and careful.

You may scrape some of the ramps, but it shouldn't be too bad (depending on the height of your car / age of springs).

Do a search on this forum for the other legal requirements required to drive on the continent. Including fire extinguishers, warning triangles etc ...

Also the pro's and con's of the space saver tyre in the boot (ie: leave it behind - it's as useful as a chocolate fireguard - take tyre weld instead).

Anyone know if the N13 has been made into a motorway yet?
