Afternoon all.

For a while I've had play in my steering rack which was improved by removing a couple of shims a few years ago but feel it's now time to repair. Racing Green appear to do an exchange service here https://partsfortvrs.com/tvr-parts/part-details/tv... has anyone used this service? How much do Kiley Clinton charge?

I also have play at the steering wheel in all planes, up, down, left, right, in and out. There does seem to be play at the triangular bush in the telescopic section of the column and a little at the bulkhead bearing. I suspect I'm just going to have to take the whole lot apart to see what's going wrong but any pointers would be welcome before I start. Is there a guide somewhere?

Thanks in advance.

The play could as well be where the steering rod is attached to the rack housing. The bush in there could be worn. Take the complete rack out and take it to a local specialist. It's an easy fix/adjustment, low cost.
