Is it possible to remove the clock that is placed between the speedo and the rev counter from the front without removing the wooden dash cover.

Mine is broken and I want to install a boost gauge as originally in the "Italian" blown 2L V8's.

Thanks

I would say NO frown

The clock is fixed on a back plate, with the speedo and the rev counter. This backplate is fixed on the dash. It will be hard to remove this back plate, pull it back, and remove the clock, all il place cry

Thank you for info.

I did try to overlay the boost gauge on the dash and the bezel is way too big. That means the dash has to come out as stated above.

With the dash out I'd better also address my leaking heater core.

Why is it always that all "small jobs" suddenly turns out to several week tasks.

I will settle for the steering bearing today then.

The dash will have to wait for next winter together with some other engine related upgrades.

Thanks
