Hello all.

I'm planning a trip to the Laon Classique in France from 3rd to 10th June but my insurance company don't do European breakdown - does anyone have any recommendations/reviews?

Thanks,

Steve

It may be too old (my Griff even at 22 is too old for many companies to cover it frown ). RAC will, but I only have UK cover. You could try a quote from European cover from RAC here:

I got cover from RAC on my 18-y-o Tuscan, having trawled the internet quite extensively first.
They accepted the car without any big hoops to jump through.
IIRC, it was around £100 for 7 day cover (basic). It does commence on the day you travel (and return) - so covers journey to and from ferry port/home.

Didn't have to use it, but guess it's reassuring that you can at least get the car repatriated.

Firstly what I use is not from my TVR insurers, I've never asked because for breakdown amongst other things covered are included from the Nationwide Flexplus Account. It used to be £10.00 a month but is now £13.00 it covers our MoHo, cars and motorbikes. Home and away.
Have a read here and also on their web site, but the breakdown service provider is changing in April 2022, not to a Company that I'm a fan of.

For what the Account also covers.....
