Undoing bolts and brackets
Discussion
I'm gradually dismantling my S1 for a full body-off restoration. Some bits are rather reluctant to part company, and as many of you have done this before I thought I'd see if anyone has had these before:
First, the bolts in the bottom of the door that attach the channel for the window glass. I've got one out, and the equivalent for the winder mechanism, but the last one isn't cooperating. The nut and bolt rotate together so it's not binding to the door or window channel. But I can't get enough purchase on the slot in the (wide, flat) bolt head - the screwdriver keeps slipping out and it's gradually damaging the slot. I could drill the head and use a screw extractor but has anyone got a better idea first?
Second, the bracket that holds the wiper motor. The three bolts that hold it to the body and the three that hold the motor are all undone yet it won't budge. Is there another bolt I can't see? Is it glued as well?

If you file the slots back to a clean sharp edge that is a close fit for your screwdriver, you should be able to get a lot of grip on those screws. If the screwdriver isn't a good fit, if will not take much torque to burr over the slot. Ultimately if you can't find a screwdriver it can fit, you may need to drill it out.
Thanks for the advice, I managed to remove both. The nut was seized onto the bolt but by drilling the head I weakened it enough that it eventually came off. The wiper motor bracket turned out to have a layer of black rubber-ish material that was glued both sides between it and the body. A large screwdriver managed to prise it off.
Next on the agenda - try to unplug the two connectors for the electronic ignition module.
