As some of you are already aware my S has gone to a new owner.

I really do miss the car. I miss the handling. I miss the interior. I miss the looks. I miss the lot really ......

I am sad to so have sold it. It has gone to a good home where it will be looked after and has become someone elses introduction to TVR ownership. I hope the bug infects them as badly as it has me.

I would like to thank everyone on the S forum for the advice you have given me. The patience given when I was a new owner. I have gained many friends through S ownership and hope this will continue. I will continue to contribute, if you all don't mind.

The following require special mention..

Steve P - Parts & Advice
Peter H - Suspension & Advice
Steve H - The lot
Patrick R - All sorts
Jason W - hehe
Paul V - hehe
John G - always sensible
Paul L - all sorts
Matt H - aaww bless him !
Aidan R - without whose assistance the car may not have been sold.

You know who you all are, and thankyou. I hope you will continue to be as valuable a resource with the new car....

I only exist thanks to a Grantura so it was always going to be that I had TVR's. I do have a new car. I have waited 8 years to own one and have found the perfect one for me. I have clocked 1300+ miles since getting it on Saturday and I love it to pieces already.

The bug goes on...

Cheers all,

Mark

Mark,

Sad about your old S but we must move on and by the sound of things you are doing a great job of that.

I am going to the VW meet and would love a spin in the new beast! You had better be there or I will hunt you down!

So when are you popping 'round then,??

Better wait till the weather clears up a bit. Oh, and it should include a pub visit.

No not a sad man johno at all, just another TVR enthusiast, thats upgraded and lets face it to the only car that can improve on the S .
May the griff give you the same if not more pleasure than the S, you'll always have a soft spot for them and look when you see one, and it’s not as if you're going to forget your roots.
I for one have enjoyed your posts in the S forums, and I'm sure your continue to do so.
Good luck with the griff hope to see it on Sunday.

You scumbag Johno!

I bet you bought the one I wanted!

Only joking mate, my S is nearly ready fot the paint shop. New roof to fit and it will be, what next. Griff is the plan at the moment. there seems to be a few about for around 13-14k that will be in my price range in the spring provided I can get a good price for mine after all the work. What age is yours and what miles. should it more reliable than the S or about the same. what's the position about the insurance. Hope you don't mind me asking as I'll be there next year (I hope)

Best of luck with the new car, hopefully we will be sharing our problems again next year!

Gadgit.
