I have recently changed my insurance to Classic Line and I need someone to sign for a valuation on inspection of my S3. Is there anybody out there in official capacity that wouldn't mind doing this for me when I take the motor to the S Club Heaven at Silverstone in a couple of weeks time? I would be most grateful if someone with TVR authorisation can do this for me.
Many thanks
Paul

I am with classic line. I just sent mine in with pictures taken with my digital camera and signed it myself together with a £15 cheque.... gtd value of £8000.

If the value is under £20000 you can sign the yellow form yourself with classic line or at least you could in June....

Thanks for the prompt reply! I was told I had to get an 'offical' to sign it complete with photos, no need to send in £15. However, if all fails, then I will take the alternative and put a cheque in the post.

The TVRCC model used to offer this as a service but I seem to remember it was discontinued due to liability issues. You could try asking on the forum at www.tvr-car-club.co.uk to see if the position has changed? Don't see why the insurers should insist on it though, not as if any TVRCC committee members have any special authority to value cars, and nobody in their right mind is going to offer more than a personal opinion about the value.

Just go to a dealer or TVR specialist, Offord Motor company did mine no problem. I will be asking Paul atAutec this time as I have moved!

I used Rob Ingleby. Find a sportscar. He advertises in Sprint.
