V8s frame colour

Hi
What colour is the chassis as standard on a V8S, a friend is looking at one on Carsandclassics that looks to be red, is that normal??, so apart from outriggers, chassis, electrics is there anything in particular to check?, I have some knowledge on chimaeras but not the V8S

Thanks, I guess it’s powder coated and maybe not done perfectly as per a Griff or Chimaera ?, outrigger corners the no 1 problem area ?

I'd suggest the first thing to check is whether the chassis has been rebuilt/replaced in the last 20 years.

If not, assume it needs it.

What makes you think the coating was any better on a Griff or Chimaera?

Red as standard BTW but I think the original buyer could have ordered any colour they want.

A misunderstanding, I meant to say as bad as Chim / Griff
