So whats the score, my S3 started off life with a pair of colour coded mirrors and ended up with the old droopy drawers jobs.
I'm starting painting soon and could do with a pointer as to where to get some decent mirrors, was it Citroen they came from? Answers soon please, or no S Club Heaven for my car.

Derek,

I understand that the S2/3 mirrors are from an early Citroen CX.

If you wish to stay with standard mirrors, and can confirm the model, I will do a search at work for a part number and will sort you a good price. If they are still available!!

To finish last nights conversation, I am still keen to swap for a set of 9" 325/350lb springs while you play with the valving in the shocks. If you have a set to hand, let me know as I may be passing not too far from you next week.

They aint cheap but IMO much nicer than the old droopy jobs and you can actually see in the passenger side one without having it aimed up at some silly angle..

Hi Steve
Springs in stock Friday, got 120 comming in so can accomadate.
The mirrors are off a Mk2 CX, model MA and the part code is apparantly 95647738.
This could just be the body and I would want glass to suit. This should be the colour coded mirrors not the ribbed type.Any help would be appreciated, mind you I just looked on brodies site and they seem as cheap as chips anyway, probably the wrong part.

Just used oz computers for my wing mirror bits. Very helpful - rang yesterday at 1600, mirrors are now reassembled and on the car.

Top service that.

No recess on mine, it connects to the door by a metal tripod, by way of a grubscrew (car end) and allen bolt running through a rubber washer (mirror end)

Mines an S3c
