Having just spent 8 months rebuilding the front end of the V8S, I managed to take it out on its first proper run yesterday. Although there are still a few minor cosmetic touches left to complete, the car runs and performs well. The engine is a joy, especially with the new stainless exhaust . As those who have done it before will know, a project such as this shouldn't be undertaken lightly, a comment my wallet and long suffering wife will both endorse! What started merely as as a "Clutch Drama" turned into a full front end strip down, chassis rennovation and blue-print engine rebuild - all through the summer. Once eventually completed though, the sense of self satisfaction outweighs those many occasions where I lost the will to live! Credit where its due, so special thanks to Mike Sweeney and the team at Raven Motorsport, Keith Kennard at TVR Mole Valley, my good friend Nick and last but not least my dear wife Michele. Thanks also to those PHers who offered support and advice.
Bl**dy typical now its roadworthy, its p*ssing down today!

Now you know where I get my nickname from Great to hear about a happy ending.....I bet you thought you were never going to get there at times, eh? Hopefully, I'll have a similar story to tell about my triumph vitesse restoration sometime soon.....it's only taken me 13 years so far
Well done mate, chin up.
