S4C bonnet vent mesh

My 93 S3C has mesh behind the bonnet vents. Unfortunately I have broken the mesh and need to replace it. I hace got hold of suitable replacement which is stainless steel (I think). Whats the best way to glue it on? Is there a special fibreglass glue?..........Anyone know if the mesh was standard or did people add it to stop leaves/debris getting into the engine bay. Andy

just use fibre glass resin.
