Hi firstly apologies if this has already beed discussed but i understand the rims on an S3 are

15x 7J with PCD of 4/108 and offset of 25mm.

what tyres can i put on these i currently have 55 all round and the car is too low also the rear wheel arch looks stupid i could go back to 60's
what is the experience of having bigger tyres on the rear to the front

So many times you wouldn't believe it rofl

But the conclusion is nearly always the same........... Dunlop Blue Response. It comes in 60 profile which fits the wheel arches well. The 55 profile is specified for the V8S.

Avons and Continental are recommended as well but the majority favour the "Blue Rinse" thumbup

Toyo CF2 Proxes are also good and available in the original 205/60 R15 V rated at a reasonable price.

Why would you want to do that?

Another vote for Uniroyals. These replaced my Blue Reponses and seem to be a much better tyre. Technology moves on etc.

Toyo Proxes here too. No issues and stick well. Have not found them too awful in wet either

tbh most decent known brands away from the 'ditchfinders' will be an improvement over 10 year old tyres.. But those mentioned above have good reviews by S owners.
