I won't link the advert, but in the past few months my online car hunting has spotted a strange activity regarding a particular TVR S2 in my neck of the woods.

A few months ago I spotted it advertised at £3850. It's been off the road for a number of years.
A few weeks ago it sold, but was quickly re-advertised elsewhere for £2000, this time noting the chassis required work. Perhaps honest enough of the seller who had bought without realising the work required.
At that price I'd have bought it and done a body-off rebuild. However it sold before I could view.
At the start of this week it re-appeared from another seller, now with the bodywork buffed, still with chassis work announced. Advertised at £3000 it again sold quickly. Expensive polish?
This evening it has re-appeared from another seller, with good photography in an aspirational area .......at £6000. It still presumably has chassis issues and certainly still has no MoT.

I'm not sure why I'm posting this. I might claim I'm warning others not to get played by a mercenary chain of sellers. Part of it is venting my frustration at not being able to buy a car I'd have done more to get roadworthy. And.....relax. Sorry.

I think you can link ads ,as long as it's not your car for sale .
