Hi All.
I need to change the right hand side rocker cover gasket (looking from the front) on my 2.8s1.
Looking at it I will need to remove the fuel lines from the plenum chamber to get it off and on.
Is this correct or is there a trick to changing it without removing too much stuff ?
TIA

Can't help with S1, not familiar with that engine but you may get a lot more response and help on the S Series Face Book Group?

I don't recall having to remove the fuel lines but I do remember it was very tricky. It can be done though (on a 2.8i Wedge anyway).

I've had the rocker covers off my S1 several times to check/adjust the tappets and to repaint the covers themselves. I had to disconnect the breather pipe(s) and pull the plug leads out of the way, but I didn't need to fiddle with the fuel injection pipes or the plenum chamber. They are fiddly to get out but it is possible. Getting the screws back in afterwards is probably the worst bit.
