Morning folks,

My O/S front brake calliper binds, slow to release.

I have removed and cleaned the sliders & checked piston for any crud on there numerous times however no joy and starting to really pee me off. I have recently noticed my brake hose was a little damp on a connection so maybe caliper loosing pressure to pull the brake calliper piston back if this is possible? If so where can I get the correct brake hose or has anyone upgraded to braided lines if so which ones folks used please.

Many thanks in advance.

Check the flexi hose. Not unknown for the hose to break up internally and hold the pressure on.

Ok thanks Andy. Think I'll replace them anyway. Braided may be a nice upgrade if anyone done this on here?

Cheers Neil.

Yes mine are braided. Lots of info on here. I actually had the blocked flexi pipe problem on my daughters car several years ago. Exactly the symptoms you are experiencing.

I've run the whole of my brake and clutch lines in braided.
