on facebook we seem to be having some interest so I would like to firm down dates. Hotel wise I have picked towns with numerous hotels. It will be down to individuals to book their own rooms, as at the mo no 'party bookings' would be honoured. I will post where I have booked mine. Routes will be on 'googlemaps' which I will email out and some hard copies. Date wise I'm suggesting the week after Easter - starting Redditch the morning of Friday 9th April. I will post this on Pistonheads. At the mo it is NOT an official TVRCC event. There will be a disclaimer to sign.
Redditch - Yeovil - Okehampton - Cheddar Gorge

Indicate below if interested.

Note I am going to run a Northern run too

DATES NOW SET - Covid permitting

Starting near Redditch (exact location TBA) around 10am
I have booked myself and my son in to The Premier Inn Yeovil Airfield BA22 8UX night of 9th April cost £68 + meals as using the flexible fully refundable price.

I have also booked us into The Travel Lodge Sourton Cross Okehampton EX20 4LY night of 10th April cost £35 + meals, again the flexible refundable price

If you wish to join us the you will need to book yourselves a room - there are other hotels in the area and we can set off from the hotels I've booked at approx. 10am

I will look at (suggestions please) places for lunch/snack, but again you can sort yourselves into small groups and stop where you want.

Thank you

I have added onto the route but it is quite near the start for that day, just less than an hour in.

I am in and hotels booked. Lots more interest on FB and quite a few 'locals' dropping in for part of the trip, so we should meet more people. Regrettably only a minority of S owners now seem to follow PH. (I admit I am now only a rare visitor!)

Again not an S Series but would love to meet up at re-fuel and the rest of the day (following at a discrete distance behind the convoy with the grif! wink )

Hello!

I'm in Devon and would love to join for a portion of the journey. How RE:Fuel escaped my attention living around 15mins away I have no idea.
No 'S' but i can bring along something with a TVR badge.

I assume these two threads somewhat overlap now, as alluded to over here.

Cheers

yes this is the same run out. Also on the fb TVR S Series Owners and Enthusiasts page.
The route will be on google maps and I may have a few hard copies.

Obviously the run cannot be guaranteed due to Covid but as long as back to Tier 2 I will give out the routes via an email request (click on my profile)

Have to be careful with that Griff! When the S tour of Scotland took place the Griff held us up....the Police stopped a group because the Griff was making too much noise!!!

Both hotels booked, but think I have already said that on the FB page. I have a very excited 11 year old looking forward to our first long trip in the S3c, won't venture up North but will cut across country from Southampton and meet you all at the Premier Inn, may set off early and visit the Fleet Air Museum first. Fingers crossed there is some kind of normality starting to return by then.

Oliver.
