I need to get some breakdown cover as the green flag cover that came with the car has expired. The one time I used it (clutch pipe was crimped after new master cylinder fitted and the pipe split) I needed to get the car back to the dealer.... green flag only would take the car 10 miles then I had to pay £70 for the extra distance.....

does anyone know of cover that will get the car taken where you want it? ...oh and inexpensive please...

10 miles is no good to anyone!!!!!

Not sure if you have insured it for low mileage etc. But this year thanks to you guys, I have taken up with Classicline Insurance, no garage etc, for £295 and for an extra £19.95 I have UK breakdown coverage. For a further £15.00 I could of had totally European coverage. Don't think that's too bad!

I've been with Green Flag for years and my cover is recovery to home address or a garage of my nomination.

My S2 is with Classicline, but my other car is with Autonational (www.autonational.co.uk/). There prices are very competitive, and they sorted me out no probs when I broke down

thanks their deal is good at the moment...£5 a month with recovery to anywhere in the UK.... cheaper if you haven't broken down in the last 12 months. Will go for this I think...cheers
