Hi All

I need to make a new tank cradle. Looks like metal used before is 45mm x 30mm and 3mm thick. Doesn't look like this is a standard size. Closest I can find is 50mm x 30mm, 3 mm thick.

What has everyone else used to replace the cradles?

Cheers

Isn’t it more likely to be imperial sized than metric? 1.75 x 1.25 x 10swg sounds the closest to what you are after; I’m sure that is still available.

Hi Liam, measured my spare tank cradle and it is 46x32x2.3 mm It's in good condition, let me know if you would want it.
Fuel tank (with working sender) in good condition available as well.

Thanks for the offer Han. I think the cost to get them here will outweigh the cost the make them. Just need to find the right size steel.
All I seem to be able to find is metric sized...

Does it really matter what size material the cradle is made from?
