Hi all,

What need to upgrade a S3 2.9 to a serpentine belt? Does the pulleys from a US 2.9L or 4.0L fit the TVR V6?

Does a harmonic balancer from a 4.0L fit. Or from a Cosworth 2.9L?

Several kit are offered for Ford engines and the kit for the Windsor SBF looks the similar. Does that fit the TVR 2.9L ?

I need the serpentine to drive the SC and also need space to fit a crank trigger wheel (36-19).

Now I'm using the standard belt to drive the alternator and water pump and an additional serpentine to drive the SC but there is not room for that if introducing a trigger wheel.

It would be brilliant to find harmonic balancer with a trigger wheel and serpentine groves.

All input much appreciated.

Good luck but I wouldn't expect a rush of answers.

I can't help on the Cologne, but that's essentially what I did on my V8 - using a standard aftermarket trigger wheel and a bespoke pulley. Any space to extend the pulley assembly forwards slightly? Trigger wheels can be quite thin.

For the record I understand that the last run of Ford Scorpio 1995-1998 had serpentine belts standard. I will see if I can get a set from such engine.

It appears that the crank pulley from the 24V also fits. Maybe that is easier to obtain.
