Hi Gents
Sorry for posting this question, I know I have seen the answer in a post. But I cannot find post.
What size it the clutch pipe, wanting to change to a braided hose?

Thanks
Jon

The originasl clutch pipe is 1/4" OD copper pipe, some have changed to 3/16" with no apparent adverse effects although, in theory, it should make the clutch marginally heavier.

Agree with Philpot. Mines a 3/16 braided from Hex if I remember right. About a metre long.. Braided hose allows you to bleed the system before fitting the slave cylinder, avoiding all sorts of unpleasantness .smile

I changed mine (S1) to LandRover master and slave with 3/16ths solid pipe ('cus that's what I had lying around) and the clutch feels exactly the same to me, and I have a duff left leg so any significant increase would be obvious.
