I wouldn't have thought that would have been too much of a problem. Wheel only goes a turn or so each way, then back, so as long as the wires are flexible this shouldn't be an issue. If you want to be ultra cautious then get the kind of wire used on a multimeter test lead - these will flex forever without issue.Spend the time driving
From memory - I think when I take my wheel off there are already a couple of wires on the horn push - but not sure how they would route out of the column??

That's exactly what I tried. There just isn't enough room between the switches and the cowling to allow enough slack to cope with turning from lock to lock. And that's assuming you find a way of getting the wire into the boss because, unlike the Moto-Lita one in the picture, the Personal boss dosen't have any holes in it.
By all means have a go yourself though
NB - my contribution here is based on practical experience (trial & error) not abstract theory
